On April 22, 2010, DAP World announced the donation
of $10,000 to New Horizons, a non-profit organization
dedicated to helping adults with developmental disabilities. New Horizons is one of DAP World's key partners as their handicapped “clients” assemble all of DAP’s products and serve as its logistical arm for shipments of our products.

In 2009, HEAROS Helps! was founded by DAP World, Inc., the manufacturer of HEAROS and Sleep Pretty In Pink ear plug brands, to advance its ear plug community through charitable efforts and philanthropic events.

Founded in 1954 by eight parents whose children had mental retardation, the agency has evolved to provide services and support each year to nearly 800 developmentally disabled adults (age 18 and older) and social/recreational services to nearly 3,000 individuals from throughout the greater San Fernando and Santa Clarita Valleys of Los Angeles.
